Via Digg: Apparently Stanford researchers used fMRI to understand how male and female brains respond differently while playing video games. What’s interesting isn’t that men are more easily addicted or enjoy video games more than women — any evening at my house could prove that — it was that the research found men enjoyed winning the game more than women.
Essentially, the study sort of gives some insight into the territorial nature of men. Again: no surprise. But still, it’s nice to see a little science behind the hours I spend on PlayStation.
